On a warm June night in Wicker Park, Remy Bond transformed Subterranean into a dreamy time machine, bending eras with her Star Shaped Baby Tour. Draped in cinematic flair and sequins. Think: cabaret meets coming-of-age film, scored by synths, heartbreak, and glitter.
From the shimmering pulse of “Don’t Go Back to Paris” to the aching hush of “Summer Song,” Remy held the crowd in the palm of her hand. Midway through, a surprise cover of Supertramp’s “Goodbye Stranger” became an unlikely anthem, drawing cheers and phone lights. New tracks like “Hawaiian Dream” teased what’s next—sunburned melodies with emotional depth.
Supported by indie siren Mila Degray and flanked by dancers and vintage visuals, Remy Bond proved she’s not just performing pop—she’s reimagining it. Chicago left starry-eyed and spellbound.
